My life has been a plethora of tidbits and craziness for the past few months. Working has always helped to keep me on track because I was always busy had to stay organized or all chaoser so his schedule is anything but routine. Everyday feels like a Saturday to me, which in my minds means a relaxed day. But that needs to change. It's time for me to get organized in all aspects, physically, spiritually, socially, and mentally (aka, my house).
I'll start physically, eating right and exercise.
It has been forever since I have posted our meal plans for the week. In fact, I'm not even sure if I've EVER done it on this blog.
Now that the school year is just around the corner, and hubby's back to work, summer craziness is dying down. In an effort to get more organized here at home I'm back to planning out our meals.
Linking up with Organized Junkie Menu Plan Monday
Monday: Homemade chicken nuggets and potatoes
Tuesday: Turkey burger and pasta
Wednesday: Chicken/Rice/Broccoli casserole
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Homemade pizza
I also need to get back into shape. Saturday I carried the flooring up to the attic while the boys did a HD (Home Depot) run. 12-30lbs boxes up two flights of stairs helped me realize how out of shape I really am. Running is sadly out of the question since I don't have a jogging stroller, but now that it's getting cooler (ie. not in the 90's everyday) I'd like to try and get back into doing the 30 Day Shred. At the very least there's no excuse to not do sit-ups, push-ups and squats every night.
I'm hoping that posting on here will help keep me accountable.
So here's my plan:
(I'll start off easy...)
- 4 nights this week- 8 minute abs, 50 squats, and 20 push-ups
- Go for 2 walks
- Shred 1x
Are you doing anything to get your life back together? Did you have a relaxed summer or did your schedule never changed?
P.S. The floor is finished in the attic, the chair rail is installed, as is the base boards! We need to caulk, and put up the quarter round and I can post! I ***might*** have a sneak peak photo...

I just started working out again since the baby is consistently sleeping through the night. I go on the nights I put him to bed (my husband and I alternate putting baby to bed and putting older boys to bed since the baby is easier and goes to bed earlier) and do about 45 minutes of cardio and some strength training. I have only been able to get there about twice a week but the rest of the time at home I am on my feet, cooking, cleaning, folding laundry, following the baby around. I basically never stop moving so I'm pretty happy with my fitness level right now, although I've really never been very fit to begin with so that might not be saying much. I used to love taking walks when I just had one baby. I would do about an hour long hilly walk every day and felt great. It's been impossible to do that now that I have 3.
Your menu plan monday has me inspired to get back on track with posting mine. We always menu plan but I have trouble finding the time to post about it.
