Coming Up This Week

Is it really the last week of September???!?!? Wow!

I don't like how fast time is going. At all.

I have a few post I've been meaning to write, that I'm going to tackle this week.

* Logan 6 month

* Attic Remodel Reveal (yes it's finally as finished as it will be for awhile!)

* Recap on our beach trips

Now that y'all are expecting these, I need to get my butt in gear and get them written :-)



Yesterday was Apple Fest at Linvilla Orchard, and we are suppose to go apple picking with some friends on Saturday, so I'll have fall post with Logan coming up soon. If you're on facebook you've seen an overload of these, but here's one from our time at the fest. :-)



Oh, and Logan should have a little buddy any day now! We have friends who are due today (or Wednesday depending on which doctor you talk to) so we are anxiously waiting to hear if he's going to have a best friend or a girl friend :-)

Tacklin' It Tuesday!

Boy, do I have stuff to tackle! I N.E.E.D. to get this house back in order. Like seriously! With little buddy being a horrible nap taker as of lately, not only do I have NO time to get anything done, but fighting with him to sleep for 1.5 hours sucks up my ability to even DO anything. Not that I'm complaining.

So today I'm going to stay home. I'm not going to meet up with anyone (although the park would be fun...), and I'm not going to run any errands (although I need gas and I think I have a book on hold at the library...).

Living Room -

• Vacuum furniture
  
• Sweep floor
• Remove everything that does not belong
• Clean out toy chest
  
• Organize baby toys
• Organize DVD bookcase

Dining Room -

• Clear off table
• Scrub down table
• Shake out rug
• Sweep floor

Kitchen -

• Clear table
  
• Put away dishes
  
• Load dishwasher
• Wash other dishes
• Scrub down sink
• Wipe down counters
• Sweep floor
• Make Peach Kuchen
  

• Empty litter box
• Clean half bath
• Laundry
• Begin organizing the guest/craft room (I told you guys how I had to rearrange it single handedly, right? Literally, I had a baby in the other hand)

House To-Do AKA Honey Do List

Our housing projects have been at a stand still. Kevin went back to teaching and I started sleeping ALL.THE.TIME. We have been adjusted for awhile now, but life just seems to keep happening and we don't get to tackle any projects. Well Kev has an in-service day on Friday, so he'll be home early and we have no plans for Friday night or Saturday! Finally! So we're going to see what can get tackled. Here's my wish-list so far. I know it won't all get completely, heck I'd be surprised if we could get half of it knocked off. I'm sure it'll keep growing too as I think of more.

• Attached all baseboards
• Hang heater in office
• Paint baseboards - Dining room/Kitchen/Nursery/Office
• Paint doors - nursery/nursery closet/bathroom/master closet/loft
  
• Sand new doorway
• Paint new doorway and hall
• Hang casing for doorway
• Install floor strips downstairs
• Scrub paint off kitchen floor
• Scrub paint off dining room floor
• Hang mirror in living room
  
• Hang curtain rods in dining room/bedroom/nursery
• Hang blind in nursery
• Purchase another set of curtains for living room
• Hang curtains in living room (Keep and eye on the cats)
• Install handrail
  
• Build and install rail upstairs
• Attach bathroom vent
• Finish pealing wallpaper in half bath
• Spackle half bath
• Replace battery in smoke dector
• Finish replacing outlets
• Install outlet covers
  

Not to mention the laundry and normal cleaning and mowing and raking the leaves and and and...
