Not Me Monday -Country Edittion

It's Monday again??? Already???

• I did NOT have an emotional week. It was NOT a result of having an offer on a house be rejected. That did NOT happen once, but TWICE in less than 5 days. I would never get that attached to something that wasn't mine.
  

• I certainly did NOT get sick this week. It's Spring time, you're suppose to get sick when it gets cold, not when it gets warm! I am NOT still whining and suffering through it.

• I did NOT have flashbacks of childhood yesterday. It wasn't a result of Kevin and I playing in the meadow behind my parents house. It most definitely did NOT result in me getting shocked by the electric fence. I know better than to touch one (even if Kevin was stuck on it because of the camera bag.)

• I did NOT have to tell my husband to watch his step because of cow pies and burn hazel. Surely my hiking/camping/outdoors-loving-husband isn't a city boy and would know about these common factors.
  

• While in said meadow I did NOT try to re-kindle my friendship with the cows. This did NOT include me telling them that cows are friends, not food.
  

• We did NOT get chased out of the meadow by a herd of curious calves. We weren't afraid of a few harmless babies. Why would we be scared of a few animals bigger than us walking towards us?

Not Me Monday

• I am NOT still obsessing about the house we have a bid on. Nope, I'm totally patient and can wait for months to hear back from the bank. No problem waiting here!

• I did NOT silently mutter not-so-nice things as I walked to my car this morning. That walk did NOT include wading through the mud because someone did not have the brilliant idea to obliterate our front steps, hence making us use the back entrance (that doesn't have a sidewalk) without checking the weather.

• I am NOT wishing the first half of this week away in hopes of the sunshine and warm weather coming on Thursday.

• I didn't spend Saturday with some friends who are moms, and Sunday in the toddler room. I did not have dreams about having a baby as a result.

• I did NOT get hooked on the show Parenthood this weekend. Nope, I would never add a new TV show to my hulu list.
  

Not Me Monday

I do not want to get a portrait lens for our camera. Nope, I'm totally content with lens we have and only want a zoom.

We did not enjoy the gorgeous day on Sunday and head out to the Preserve. Who enjoys the outdoors in the middle of November? I also did not take off my sweater because I was hot. Nope, no I.

I did not land on my bad ankle .3679 seconds after this shot. I did not crumpled to the ground in pain. Not me. I did not later climb a fence for a picture and attempt to climb a tree even with the shots of pain shooting down my ankle.
We did not plan our outfits and take Christmas pictures.
I didn't get awesome new was I was in the middle of a store and let out a little squeal and do a little dance. Nope. I'm waaayyy to cool to let emotion like that show in a public place like that.

I did not have a bat fly past my face in the middle of church! No way would a bat get inside our church.

Not Me Monday!

I'm joining up with MckMama's Not Me Mondays


I did not come home every night last week and either take a 2 hour nap, or fall asleep by 8. Nope. Not me. I have way to much that needs done to spend that much time sleeping.

I did not go to a work seminar in Lancaster on Tuesday. It did not happen to be at the hotel that my ex used to work at...and he does not still work there 6 years later. And I definitely didn't run into him and walked in late to my seminar. No way. I would never be late for something, especially something my work was paying for.

I did not consider eating Qdoba take-out a dinner date with Kevin. No way. Qdoba is definitely not the high class enough to be even considered.

I did not spend Saturday night on the couch by myself. No way Jose. I have way too many friends to spend a Saturday night alone. I did not spend that time watching some of the Jonas marathon. No way would I ever be caught watching a Disney show like that. Never.

We did not get a Staples Easy button at work. I definitely wasn't super excited about it and kept hitting it to see if it said anything other than "That was easy." I would never be amused by something that silly. Nope not me.
