The ti...I was in l&d for exactly 12 hours too!! The time flew. I walked my butt off for a good bit of it, b/c I didn't want to be hooked up to stuff just yet. And then I got the epidural, and it turns out it didn't work (hence why I could feel EVERYTHING) and was able to push her out on my own. So, I'm with you on that. It helps to feel it (although, OW!!)....and honestly? Next time, there will be no real need to even have an epi since I know I can do it without. Stupid thing didnt work anyway!<br /><br />I loved your birth story!
